Park Cities Fourth of July Parade

The Park cities Fourth of July Parade was timed perfectly after a light rain, the clouds parted, and the community came together. Jim Whorton was honored as the Grand Marshall. For years Whorton has entertained the parade crowd as he rode on his high wheel bike. As a former Marine Whorton embodies the spirit of the fourth of july. Teams from the High school, rode floats, much to the delight of the children in the crowd. With slightly cooler temperature the morning was delightful, red, white and blue everywhere.
