It was a big weekend for Highland Park Lacrosse, the gold team played two games, winning their first against Friendswood 14-3 in Austin, Texas. Sunday they matched up against Westwood at their Austin home field and lost a nail biter 10-11.

Storms couldn’t keep Highland Park Blue lacrosse from defeating Houston Memorial. It took two days, the game was originally scheduled for Saturday night at Highlander stadium. The 8pm game started Saturday night but was postponed due to lightning, play was resumed Sunday morning. Memorial came out strong scoring three unanswered goals to tie the game at half time 4-4. Whatever was said to the Scots during halftime worked, they came out more alert and working like a team, the final score was Highland Park 13 Memorial 6. The Scots advance to play ESD in Coppell Saturday, May 13th at noon on the Buddy Echols field. The rematch will be a heated contest between two talented teams. Highland Park defeated ESD during the season 8-6.
