Scots Lacrosse Defeats Jesuit

In a tight contest the Scots lacrosse team gets a win over Jesuit. The Scots found themselves trailing the Rangers 2-4 going into the fourth quarter. Just seconds into the fourth quarter Jack McCallum picks off a pass, throws it to Harris Sands who moves it quickly over the Duncan Zielke on the outside for a short shot making it 3-4. Paxton Smith take a pass with seconds left on the shot clock and fights his way up the middle to get a shot off to tie up the game with a little over ten minutes left in the game. A Jesuit turnover gives the Scots the ball with about seven and a half minutes to go. The Scots work the ball around until Brian Rapp makes a toss to Harris Sands who comes from behind the net to make a left handed shot to make it 5-4 Scots. Jack McCallum makes a fifteen yard shot with just under six minutes left giving the Scots a 6-4 win over Jesuit in a hard fought battle.

The Scots played St. Marks on the previous Tuesday. St. Marks appears to be in a rebuilding period, the Scots dominated them with a final score of 19-1.
