The 2025 Scots have their sights on another State Championship title. Falling short in 2024, the Scots are more determined and driven.

Leading the Scots is junior, Buck Randall. Randall started at quarterback as a sophomore, the first to do so since

Matthew Stafford.  Randall settled into the position early in the 2024 season, showing he has the patience to wait for the play to develop.  He returns for the Scots after being named the 7-5A district offensive MVP for 2024.  Randall closed out the 2024 season with 3,900 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, additionally, he rushed for 11 touchdowns.

Returning along with Randall, his offensive linemen Tripp Townsend and Stuart Allday. Highland Park is known for their depth in receivers and running backs year after year. Cannon Bozman, and Matthew White also return for the offense. Others to watch

for are Jackson Bond, Harrison Cullum, Isaiah Lee, Case Messer, and Charlie Olmstead,  Sophomore Colton Williams will probably, end up on the line.Expect an explosive, exciting offense this fall from the Scots.

Defensively, the Scots’ lone returning starter is Beau Jones. Scots are known for strong defensive play and 2025 shouldn’t be any different. Players with some playing time last year that you can count on to step up on the defense are Thomas Cook, Ronan Moreland, and Martin True. The defensive newcomers are expected to pull their weight.  Only time will tell who climbs to the top of the heap for starting positions.
