The weather cooperated giving the Lady Scots Tracy Wills meet near perfect weather.
The Lady Scots well out numbered the other participating teams from Crandall, Fort Worth Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Garland, Pinkston and Richardson. The Lady Scots Varsity team took away first place honors as a team.
In a very exciting high jump competition, Cate Hale took first place Varsity with a personal best of 5’2″. Other varsity first place winners for the Lady Scots were Madeleine Denton in both triple jump and the long jump, Emory Rhodes in pole vault, Kayla Dickerson in the 3200 meter run, Ellie Preston in both the 800 meter run and the 1600 meter run. The 4×400 relay team of Gracelyn Nix, Ellie Preston, Georgia Jones and Caroline Scott also took first place.
Overall the day was a perfect day for the Lady Scots with hugs all around from teammates after each event.
