Maybe it was the storms outside that kept Highland Park and Frisco Reedy from scoring in the first quarter of their playoff matchup. Just when it seemed neither team could make forward progress, Frisco Reedy’s Brayden Prim hit a 28-yard field goal. The Scots found themselves trailing 0-3.
The Scots finally found their footing. Relying on Matthew White and a short five-yard run into the endzone followed by a Sutton Stock extra point, the Scots found themselves leading 7-3. Next up was Harrison Cullum, taking a Buck Randall pass 55 yards for a touchdown. Reedy answered with a touchdown pass to Ben Francis. Scots had a 14-10 lead at halftime.

Matthew White showed his diversified abilities as he ran 46 yards for a Scots touchdown. Harrison Cullum came up with another 40-yard pass for a touchdown. The Scots depth in positions became obvious as Buck Randall connected with Cash Tanner for a 48-yard pass. Sutton Stock hit a 36-yard field goal, and Isaiah Lee made a two-yard run into the endzone, giving the Scots their final 45-10 win over Frisco Reedy.

They will face off with Frisco Wakeland next Friday at the Star in Frisco, 7pm.
