Scots found their footing in the second quarter. After James Flowers scampered in from the six yard line to give the Scots a 7-6 lead over Lake Belton.

After Lake Belton scored a touchdown with a 21 yard pass to Davion Peters, the Scots went to work. The second quarter allowed the Scots to shine. Cannon Bozman took a pass 70 yards for a touchdown, Buck Randall made a 1 yard run for another touchdown. Showing their depth, Buck Randall made passes to Charlie Olmstead (61 yards) and Isaac Hutchinson (24 yards) giving the Scots a 35-13 lead over Lake Belton at halftime.

The Scots weren’t done, after the half, Isaiah Lee had two touchdown runs, of 34 yards and 18 yard. Matthew White made a quick four yard run, giving the Scots 21 more points with the help of Sutton Stocks successful extra point kicks.

By the time ran out Scots had a 56-13 win over Lake Belton and advanced to play Frisco Reedy the following week at the Star.
