Scots Lacrosse Wins Spring Break Games

The weather wasn’t as expected but that didn’t stop the Scots Lacrosse Blue team to play in Naples, Florida. First up was the Hotchkiss School from Connecticut which the Scots disposed of quickly 14-2. The game of the trip was against The Benjamin School of Florida. A strong matchup expected, the game did not disappoint. The Scots got off to a quick start with Bodie Parra scoring in the first quarter, followed by a goal by Herik Johnson and a Harrison Brown goal. The Scots were up 3-1 going in the second quarter. At halftime the Scots were trailing by two goals, 4-6. After some goals for both sides in the second half, at the end of regulation time the score was tied 8-8. Within the first 15 seconds of overtime, Harrison Brown fought being double teamed and slid inside, making a diving shot to score the winning goal 9-8 over The Benjamin. The following day the Scots defeated the Berkshirt School from Massachusetts. 13-5.
